Jazmine Sullivan is a hot new soul singer out of Philidelphia. She has a new song out that talks about car vandilism. Some have compared Sullivan's vocals to an ex Fugee member. Although Sullivan first hit single had her sounding like an ex Fugee member, she is starting to stand out.
Sullivan is currently on tour with Maxwell and, the two are in the District of Columbia. While Sullivan is in town, she stopped by the Central Union Mission to help the homeless and talk about her current projects and her.
Central Union Mission along with WKYS, WMMJ, Praise 104 and WYCB held a radio thon to raise money for the Mission. Sullivan allowed her new founded star sucess to influence others for donations towards the Central Union Mission.
The Central Union Mission provides shelter, support and life changes for those that seek shelter at the mission. The short video below gives more information about the homeless shelter.
