In the wake of black history month, everyone who has studied American Slavery and the middle passage knows an estimated 600 million Africans died doing the middle passage. The middle passage was route on the ocean taken by the slave ships on there way to America. Well, rumor has it that an urban slave ship exist in Birmingham,AL . The name of this ship is Cox Urban radio. Un name sources are coming forward and talking about KKK connection to the sales office of this part of Cox radio.
Streetroachpics.com has a theory as to why Cox’s management may allow such a person to continue to work for this part of their company. This high level sales person is reported to treat all non white employees like a everyday episode of roots. One may say that Cox allows this person to exist in the day to day operation of the radio station is because most advertisers of any radio station are more then likely white. This would explain the practice at most station of the athletic theory or glass ceiling theory. This theory is simple. People are more receptive to people of like ways , therefore, if I can identify with you at times, it may be easier to sell you a product or good. Streetroachpics.com is not saying just because you are not black you should not work at a station whose programming maybe targeted to blacks. It is presenting another fact to such a situation. Although there are issues with various people and their personal opinion of people is not the major problem, it is a lack of support for each other.
