The National Congress of Black Women, Inc. (NCBW) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the educational, political, economic and cultural development of African American Women and their families. The organization was recently a part of a major movement to establish the bust in the Capitol of Sojourner Truth.
The current leader of the NCBW is Dr. E. Faye Williams, Esq. She and NCBW held an event after the Sojourner Truth bust unveiling. Streetroachpics.com was to get a few pictures of the event.
