Is Blackplanet.com one of many websites changing due to new laws

With the internet always changing, large big box social network websites are changing. These sites have to deal with trolls, scammers, prostitution and other. Some people are up to no good by creating multi accounts on these big box websites. These big box sites have received so many complaints that changes were required. To date, the Blackplanet community is not aware of any lawsuits against Blackplanet.com.
Blackplanet.com is asking all members to re-verify their accounts. Blackplanet.com has the lowest security on the net and has not done anything to their site in years like 10 or more years. The site in the last five years applied SSL to the site and still does not have SSL in chat.
The new changes are welcome to the website.
