RHOP cast member faces assualt charges and other may have mental problem

America is shocked with charges being filed against Monique Samuels by Candiace Dillard Bassett. According to People Magazine, Dillard went down and cried to the Montgomery County Maryland Commissioner. Dillard allegedly stated that Samuels dragged her and, the MOCO commissioner found probable cause. This has required Samuels to appear in court for second degree assault. On December 23, the DMV will be a circus with this court appearance by the two cast members, RHOP cameras and other RHOP cast members taking sides in the case.
In Maryland, second-degree assault is defined as a harmful or offensive, unconsented to, contact. An assault can even be charged even if there was no physical contact, but rather, someone was placed in apprehension of a harmful or offensive, unconsented to, contact. During the a taping of the fifth season of Real Housewives of Potomac at a dinner party, Samuels allegedly grabbed Dillard by the hair. This alleged dragging or attacked was caught on film.
People mag is also reporting that Samuels' attorney is implying that Dillard has contributed to an unsafe work environment and may have mental problems. At this point in time, fans have to wait for witness testimony and information to be validated in court. Samuels had been asked a few weeks ago about an alleged assault and, she implied nothing had occurred.
My God bring peace back to the families of the RHOP cast and the fans of each individual cast member. As this drama plays up more information will be posted.
