District of Columbia government is giving no interest loans to help their citizens during the shutdown

The District of Columbia is awarding no interest loans to the citizens of D.C. affected by the Federal Government shutdown of 2019. The loans will allow people to pay their mortgages and other bills. The loan is up to 5k.
