Over all, the Hampton 2008 Jazz Festival was able to maintain tradition. The event in the year of 2008 was able to bring major artist with Jazzy sounds although the artist are listed in different areas of music. On the last day, the festival presented Maze, Josh Stone Dave Koz and Peabo Bryson.
Maze did what Maze does best. They brought the party to the event. A band with no album in ten years still has a following and , Maze is still a headliner. Frankie's health is back to one hunder precent and , this insures a good concert.
Dave Koz was new to me but, he was very impressive and very talented. He along with Peabo Bryson present a very smooth and entertaining show that was full of energy.
Josh Stone a young artist did her set with no shoes on her feet. She even danced in the crowd and allowed the crowd to catch her vibe. Stone along with her band presented a very smooth style.
