Zane, whose government name is Kristina Laferne Roberts, has released another project based on her collection of books. This one is a feature film titled "Addicted". Roberts has produced this out of her own pockets and, the movie is distributed by Lions Gate with Code Black Entertainment.
According to Mojobox office, the movie has grossed 8 million on the opening weekend and, the cost to make was estimated at 5 million.
The move is about a galleria risks her family and flourishing career when she enters into an affair with a talented painter and slowly loses control of her life.
Many people that are apart of the Zane cult are a little confused because all of Zane books have all Black characters but, in the movie, the talented painter lover that has the affair with the wife is played by a white guy
Many people think she had to cut a deal to make the movie made and pay off her personal expenses.
