Mr. Putin will invade somewhere in Europe. The West is playing catch up, and catch off guard. Again, I was correct, NATO and US Forces should have fortified in Western Urkaine, which would have sent a message to Russia on the West Strategic interest relating to the regions.
Now, I don't think that the Europeans can stomach this situation (potential total destruction). World leaders failed to comprehend Mr. Putin's moves (intentions) in a timely manner. He has Crimea, and now is moving on Eastern Urkaine and other European area. He has fortified with Syria, ISIS and Arabia, for dominating strategic influence in the Middle East theater.
Nonetheless, on Urkaine, we must examine JFK moves on the Berlin Crisis. President Kennedy allowed the Soviet Union to divide Berlin, knowing the possibilities of total warfare; However, he fortified in West Berlin; and we might have to do the same here involving Urkaine. Moreover, we will have to fortify as President Kennedy did in West Berlin, and possibly in other regions of Europe and Arabia to stop the Russian bear.
The US is still fighting a two front war: Instead of Iraq and Afghanistan, were fighting ISIS and Russia in Arabia and Europe. Moreover, we are still sort of fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq with limited forces. The Cold War has reemerged all over the globe.
The bigger solution is our diplomatic corp. We need top diplomats around the globe.
In addition, there is a strategic need for Secretary Kerry to immediately go to Russia and meet with Mr. Putin. Mr. Kerry can possibly tone down the situation with a meeting with the Russia leader. He did great meeting with the Arabs...
Militarily, everyone knows that the US Naval Forces and Air Force are superior, and I am not doubting our powerful military capabilities, but there would be too much destruction in Europe, when we can use diplomacy.
I think anyone who thinks that Russian is a third world power, attempting to regain its status and world prestige are wrong. Russia has always carried a strategic missile force, which maintain and carries Russia's status around the edge of the superpower arena. Were in a tripolar world arena: US, China and Russia. We need the best political thinkers to deal with Russia's Putin and his Intelligence organizations and military forces. Moreover, we need top diplomats to deal with this long term struggle for power.
