Was Jeff Goldbum caught sneaking into the Nerd Prom?

During the annual Nerd Prom or White House Correspondents dinner, many of the guest are required to walk up or at least wait till the President arrives. This waiting and walking happens due to the street closers.
The heavy police activities gives the local fans, paps and others a chance to get up close and personal with any celebrity or other that will attend the Nerd Prom. In other words, it is best to be on time for the event and not late.
In the case of Jeff Golbum, he arrived after the streets closed and the fans pushed back. He was forced to walk up and , in the picture, Goldbum is holding the woman with him hand for some reason.
