The Washington DC International Film Festival will be hosting a red carpet screening of Jazz in the Diamond District, the movie loosely based around Go-Go music and life in the District of Columbia. The independent film has some major urban stars such as Wood Harris, who is best known for his role as Avon Barksdale on the hit HBO television series The Wire and, Clifton Powell, who is a seasoned actor with a long resume. The movie also features new comers that were born and raised in the DMV (an acronym for the District, Maryland, and Virginia) such as Monique Cameron, Erica Chamblee, and Andre Strong, that add to the magic of the movie.
If you would like to show your support for this project, the screening will take place at...
