Regina King is best known as a child actress that did not get in trouble as she aged. King has had great success in the entertainment industry as an adult actress. King has now moved into the humanitarian status. King is a major producer of the documentary film titled Side by Side: The Story of the 50/50 Group of Sierra Leone.
The film will tell the story of the women of Sierra Leone and , the world organization known as 50/50 Group. If you are not up to date with the past problems of Sierra Leone, you may have to check the Hollywood version by viewing the movie Blood Diamonds or, one can just give the Steve Coakley a call. Coakley is known as the underground research. If you want to do your own research, you can just read a book.
Although King and her son have traveled to Sierra Leone, this must not have been enough for her. She become a major backer of the documentary film and , up to now, King has spoken on this topic every time someone gives her a chance. The film was featured at the Pan African Film Festival.
