RES had feel off the music map or at least the top 10 charts. Well, RES is still around and her music is poping. RES is out with new track by
Res, is a female indie singer/songwriter from Philadelphia. Her music is an alternative mixture of soul, rock and indie pop. She released her debut album, How I Do, in 2001 featuring the singles "Golden Boys" and "They Say Vision", the latter made the Top 40 Billboard Hot 100 Single Sales chart and the dance remix hit number one on the Billboard dance chart.
Res' music crosses boundaries that not many artists have been able to accomplish. She has what is known as a "cult following". Fans and tastemakers are quick to tell you that she is a criminally slept on artist who continually makes quality music that is often missing in the marketplace.
Res began her career signed to MCA Records at a young age and in the height of a thriving music industry. 10 years later she has taken her career in her own hands and like many artists with a strong fan base, decided to break ties and move forward as an indie artist.
While living in Los Angeles, Res was asked by Hip Hop crooner Cee-Lo Green to join the "Gnarls Barkley World Tour", promoting their Grammy Award winning album St Elsewhere that featured the massive international hit song, Crazy! Throughout the year and a half of touring, Res was exposed to audiences in New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Europe and the United States. While on the road, Res constantly wrote new material for her solo projects.
