BET Honors untold stories

If you have not heard, BET held an invitation only black tie gala titled Black Entertainment Television Honors in the District of Columbia at the Warner Theater. The Honorees were Tya Banks, Richard Parsons, Dr. Cornel West, Maxine Waters , Janice Bryant Howroyd and Alicia Keys. It appears while everyone else talked about the grand event other things were going on that many were not aware off.
As BET planned it's event, BET had blocked of 1 block in each direction of the Warner Theater. This was done for security reasons and most have cost a lot of money. Other factors that BET faced were protesters. If did not know ,there is a group called Enough is Enough. Enough is Enough is upset with BET programing due to various videos and would like BET to change their format. Enough is Enough themselves stretched 2 bocks at least. With the black crusaders at one end of the street and the seat fillers sneaking into the Warner at the other end, it is amazing that things run so smoothly.
Why Seat fillers? I am sure people would have lined up long and far to get inside of this event. BET needed seat fillers to make the place look packed. One has to assume that a lot o the BET invitations may have been reject although some Black Star power showed up at the event. There are documented pictures below to verify the story.
