O’Malley has plans to increase surveillance on the citizens of Maryland. Although it is not clear the level of spying that will be used, O’Malley plans to use new technology to fight crime along any other threat. The major plan of action are video camera and watch centers. Although sounds like a good plan, many people are worried about abuse and will the state of Maryland become a police state. As this new technology is use, one can assume new laws or laws suits will come about as time passes
