Black Ice sued Miguel Jontel after he signed with Jive Records. During Jontel's time with Black ice, he had to make B2K sound alike music. One has to assume left Black Ice because for years , they could not break him or give him a chance to show his talent. After a few years with Jive, Miguel worked on Usher stuff and, the rest is history
