Michele Wright was recently let go with WPGC radio and many people had wonder what was her side of he story. Recently, Streetroachpics.com caught up with Ms Wright.
1. Are you syndicated or apart of any syndicated show?
*Currently I am still heard on Big Tigger's Live In The Den syndicated show on 3 features - The Wright Track, The Synopsis and What's Good. The shows airs on WPGC Saturday mornings.
2. Are you on satellite radio and how are things there for you?
*I host a daily R&B show on satellite radio on the Heart & Soul channel 6pm-midnight
3. What happen at WPGC?
*It was time to leave WPGC. I was allowed to address most of the station staff at a final staff meeting on Friday, March 12th. I then stood before them and announced I would resign and that day would be my last. I told them that my heart was no longer there.
My tenure there was long and it was time for change. The station was going to head into a new direction with a new PD. All PD's are different and embrace different styles and sounds.
I love new challenges and love the idea of growth and reinvention...it was time for me to change also. Yes the decision to change was mutual.
5. What have been up too since you left WPGC?
*I worked and traveled for most of the 90 days that was the original term of my non-compete.
