She followed her dreams and auditioned for the 5th season of Project Runway, in which she became a finalist and was awarded the "fan favorite" prize. On February 15, 2010, Korto unveiled the "Korto Momolu 2010 Fall Collection" during New York Fashion Week. Subsequently, Dillard's, Inc. and The Korto Momolu Brand formed a partnership for her to design an eye-catching collection of handbags and jewelry that is currently available in select Dillard's stores and at Dillards.com.
