Charter Schools were setup to help in the community. Some approve of them because of the rules and the no red tape effect from the public schools. Others don't like them because , the money given to Charter Schools takes away from the public school system budget. Well, there is a new twist added to the Charter School.

A recent report from the UCLA’s Civil Rights Project is stating segration on the raise with the formation of chater schools. According to Democarcy Now, seven out of ten black charter school students attend schools with extremely low numbers of white students. Black students account for 32 percent of charter school enrollment nationwide, twice the percentage enrolled in public schools.
