Single Mom becomes top Executive after being on welfare

This American dream story involves a woman that was raised under a family that was traditionally on welfare. Shanice Craft had her kids young, no education and got connected and supported by a life of crime. With all of the social problems that Craft faced, she fraught hard to over come the obstacles in her life. Craft credits GOD for her success.
She currently is a VP at a luxury car dealership in Laurel, MD, obtained her GED, provided for her family with assistance from the government and escape a relationship that could have put her in jail. At a Whalers Foundation event, Shanice Craft tells her story in this video.
