We all should congratulate Anji Corley for winning WPGC's next top jock. Although Corley was on a heritage station in Pittsburgh, this should not matter to all the other inexperienced radio jock hopefuls that took part in this event. WPGC is not the only reality type of event that represents the unknown getting a break but, it appears like on most reality structured events that the unknowns were already known.

If you thought you were some little DMV person and this contest was your big break with little or no experience, you thought wrong. This contest was a filter for all those already in the radio business making a career move. For example, you look at the top five line up. The majority of them had past entertainment experience and were already known whether they feel off or not. If you thought you were going to be a local super hero to rest of the locals in the DMV, Bama you thought wrong.

One would think WPGC played its fan base by the presentation of the next top jock. The contest was open to any and everyone across the country and not the locals of the DMV therefore, this open the door for the professional to suck the life out of the bright eye hopeful trying to experience the reality life American dream. The next time you hear about a contest don't get your hopes up. You may just be a fish in a shark tank.
