Jam Donaldson is trained as a lawyer by profession but has a historical past. Outside of the lawyer hustle , Jam has a website called Hot Ghetto Mess. Jam historical past is related to her father being a famous painter. Although Jam is upset that people say her father would not approve of the show, Jam feels those people are wrong because she knew her father. In a recent interview , Jam made the following quote, ” I would love to know who these "observers" are who dare make an assessment about my late father. Its insulting”.
Jam was once sued on a court tv show, but she won the case because the picture was posted on the internet. Most of the content and pictures that Jam obtain for her website came from the internet or from persons that sent them to her. The site then lead to DVD sales and today a TV show on BET. One would think that most people who view the pictures or the DVD, only looked at it and laugh or shook their head. Some of the pictures people my like and say he or she is sexy . The same picture could be seen as low taste to others. The problem people may have with the show is Jam is only presenting black folks as a mess and associating the term Ghetto with black folks. If the show showed all people, one would ask if it would air. This maybe the reason for the black lash of the show.
Jam Donaldson her self could appear on the show because of the following statement in a recent interview. “I sweat at the club and sing out shameful lyrics loudly after a few drinks with the best of them”, I would think this would be a Hot Ghetto Mess statement or a statement from a person who is influence by their environment although it may be offensive or looked down upon by others. With a statement like that, I wounder dose Jam drop it like it hot or puts her booty on the floor. I would love to be on the receiving end.
