Adrain Fenty is now the new Mayor of the District Of Columbia. There are many questions surrounding Fenty and his ability to do the Job. Fenty looks to using New York City management for model to help manage the District Of Columbia although New York City has many revenue streams such as tolls, various taxes and the ability to create laws to help the city. The District of Columbia is basically ruled by Congress and receives it's revenue or capital planning from Congress and has very little input on creating new revenue streams but, Fenty still plans to use this city as a model. Fenty zero tolerances plan based out of NYC. This plan will lock up more people for minor things such as urinating in the alley or public places. A problem the boy who wants to be king my have witness while taking the trash out at his parents shoe store in Adams Morgan or at his parents home while growing up. The reason Adams Morgan may have this problem is because of bars , restaurants and night life over the past 20 years. Zero tolerances to some my mean more poor or disadvantage people getting locked up or it could mean getting rid of other eyes soars such as homeless people, non eclectic groups that may be offenses to the multi million dollar property owners or the high class social groups of any origin that either visit or live in the city. Streetroachpics.com plans track Fenty public record for 100 days. This is a practice that normal done on new elected officials. Fenty maybe connected to the city by birth but who will he represent on a day to day. Many may hope Fenty is not planing a program that gets rid of the people who cannot afford to live here such as NYC did. The program was a voucher program which gave vouchers to those who wanted them and allowed the voucher takers to move anywhere in the country for free for a period of a few years or more.
