The Broadcasting industry may sound like fun and party time to the listener but to the people that work day to day, the broadcasting industry is a ruff and tumble life. There so much drama going on behind the scenes it will make you laugh , cry and say what the heck.
Olivia Fox at the bottom of the Hill
To those of you who may not know Olivia Fox, she is best known for her side kick to co host role on the Russ Parr morning show. If you dont recall , you woke up one morning to no Olivia Fox. Radio One had to be strong held to get answers. The next move for Fox was Tampa on a the borg outlet Clear Channel. Fox is reported to have made more while not being syndicated being that Radio One is the lowest paying radio house in the game. Fox is now back with Radio One on 93.9 her time slot is from 10- 2am
Many people are watching this situation unfold to see what happens. Gossip has that Jeff had a serious crush on Fox and brought her lunch and washed her car everyday and, this lead to her being fired. Jeff is still in town and the Fox is back.
Uncle O dont play that
Tray Jackson , who is known as Uncle O on Power99, pulled a fire arm and put it in the face of a club owner. Jackson who is 40 was at Club Samba when this happen. People are asking question. Why would a radio personality threaten the hands the feed him. If you dont know, radio personality can get up to 2000 bucks an hour for club hosting. Did Samba not want to pay or owe Jackson some money? Did the club owner have one of Jackson’s favorite groupies?
